What Are The Qualifications for Pag-IBIG Housing Loan


Are planning to invest in real state properties through Pag-Ibig Housing Loan Program and you doubt it if you are qualified into this loan program. Here are some details to know if your are qualify for Pag-Ibig Housing Loan.

Pag-Ibig Housing Loan Program Qualifier Must be:

1. Must be Pag-IBIG member for at least 24 months, this will serve as evidenced by the remittance of at least 24 monthly mandatory savings (MS) on time of loan application.

* If you are new member and planning to apply for Pag-IBIG housing loan you shall required to pay a lump sum for about 24 months. If you are luck of contributions you must pay for suceding months prior to 24 months lump sum rules.
Takenote: the lump sum payment shall be based on MS that correspond to the loan amount applied for.

* On the other hand the Pag-IBIG Overseas Program (POP) monthly mandatory savings of (OFW) Overseas Filipino Workers who are also Pag-IBIG I members will shall be based on counting the total number of MS when wanted to avail housing loans program.

2. Not more than sixty-five (65) years old at the date of loan application and
must be insurable; and not more than seventy (70) years old at loan
maturity;
3. With legal capacity to acquire and encumber real property;
4. Has passed satisfactory background/credit and employment/business
checks of Pag-IBIG Fund;
5. No outstanding Pag-IBIG housing loan, either as both a principal borrower
or co-borrower;
6. Has no outstanding Pag-IBIG multi-purpose loan in arrears at the time of
loan application.
7. Had no records of Pag-IBIG housing loan that was foreclosed, cancelled, bought back due to default, or subjected to dacion en pago. (in short no bad records)
